Payment with Swish
The Swish payment flow depends on:
- Your Swish service (Handel or Privat/Företag)
- Your device setup (single or multiple QR-capable devices)
Follow the steps below. When a choice is required, select the option that matches your setup.
Step 1: Add items to the cart
Add items to the cart as usual.

Step 2: Select Swish payment
Choose Swish as the payment method.

Step 3: QR code is displayed
What happens next depends on how many devices can display a QR code.
Choose your device setup:
| Setup | What happens |
|---|---|
| Single QR device | The QR code is shown automatically on the available device. |
| Multiple QR devices | A dialog appears where you select which device should display the QR code. |
Single QR device
This applies if you have:
- A POS terminal that can act both as a cash register and payment terminal (e.g. smartphone or combined terminal), or
- Only one connected payment terminal capable of showing a QR code
In this case, the QR code is displayed immediately on the relevant screen.

Multiple QR Devices - choose QR code display
If you have multiple connected devices that can display a QR code (for example, several payment terminals) a selection dialog appears.

Select where the QR code should be shown:
- This device -> the cash register
- Other devices -> connected payment terminals
TIP
If you don’t recognize your payment terminal names, you can change your device names in BackOffice > Company > Devices, or go to Settings in the OPEN Two app (only for Worldline).
Step 4: Payment confirmation
What happens after the customer scans the QR code depends on your Swish service.
Swish Handel
- The payment finalizes automatically
- No manual confirmation required
Swish Privat / Swish Företag
- Verify that the customers payment has gone through.
- Confirm the payment manually in the cash register.
Step 5: Receipt options
Once the payment is confirmed, you can:
- Print a receipt
- Email a receipt
- Let the receipt timer run out (no receipt is issued)
